You gave an exceptional performance at last year's Merlefest. I've been looking for anyone to have a release of the live performance but have not found any. Is anyone licensed to issue a recording of this performance?

I just wanted to put in my two cents worth. Happy Thanksgiving to Sam, Lynn, Byron, Stephen, Chris, Scott, Rob and the crew. I have been reminded this past week of how very lucky I am to have so many beloved family and friends. So much to be grateful for, and music is right there at the top of the list. Sam and the Sam Bush Band are on the top of that music list. Thanks to you for sharing your fabulous talent with the world! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all the Sam Fans!

Hey all! Happy Thanksgiving week. SSSOOO much to be thankful for... thanks for all the posts. Keep them coming, we like to know what you guys are up to and thinking as well. So, check in from time to time (like you have been). News: Sam had out-patient surgery on his right foot this past Friday. My birthday! Best present: all went well, prognosis is good and he will feel much better soon! The band will take about 3 months off while Sam recuperates, but keep updated thru SBTV and all the socials! We really appreciate your interest and participation. Be healthy, be happy and above all be thankful....... We are, thanks to and for all of you. Take care of each other, with deep appreciation,

Lynn (& Sam)

I recently purchased the soundboard of moe. from September 5 of this year and all I can say is WOW!

Sam plays on a few tracks, including a 23 minute Meat, and TEARS IT UP! I've been getting into some of Sam's "side projects" lately and his playing impresses me even more than when with his own band, which is saying a lot.

With that in mind I am anxiously awaiting the long-delayed new Dread Clampitt CD...

The Sam Bush TV is awesome! So is the new CD.
Any plans to come to the Richmond Va area anytime soon?
We will see you at Merlefest, this year will be our 9th consecutive trip to that great festival. Thanks to Sam, Lynn, and the band for sharing the recording and related events around this outstanding collection of songs.

Safe travels, happy holidays and we hope to see you soon.

Happy 25th SAM & Lynn. Ya'll are lookn' good. Sam, it's been a long hard road. I remember the first festival that I saw you and the group in IOWA in the early seventies and then in Bean Blossom. I beleive that it was you, Tony, Ebo, Courtney and Lonnie, if my memory (?) serves me right. Please tell anyone that I know or that might remember me, Howdy. If you can find the time, give me a call. The number is still the same.

Hi Lynn, Sam, and band. Please come play for us in Atlanta. Enjoyed the first cut and can't wait to hear more from new CD. Let me know how I can help spread the good Bush word!

I just returned from the Bahamas where my copy of the new CD is now being played on the cruise ship we took down. I got the cruise director to to play it one night in a club whose name I don't remember (and I don't even drink anymore! There are SO MANY clubs on those boats) and the rest is history.

Someone needs to put together a Telluride Goes to Sea Cruise. Now THAT would be fun.

Speaking of the in store performance I see a recording of it is up on my favorite torrent site.

As you are setting tour dates, please try to visit southern Illinois (Carbondale, Metropolis?), Western Kentucky (how bout Paducah) or southern Indiana (Evansville?). Please?

Word on Sam & Band touring, we are working hard on the 2010 performance schedule. With our new agency, TG2 Artists, and "Special Agent" David Lloyd back in the saddle, we are looking forward to playing everywhere that will have us. You guys can help. Ask your favorite local venues and promoters to bring Sam & the boys (and me) to your town. That's the secret: you demand, we supply. We will have announcements soon. If you've noticed, now that we have Sam out in the "ether world" you can't shut him up! (gentle humor, dear)
Thanks all for making week one of record sales a huge success,
Lynn

When will Sam's tour dates be updated in the "On the Road" section? Hopefully the band will be coming to southern Indiana in early 2010. Otherwise I will just have to wait until June and catch him in Telluride for our eighth consecutive pilgrimage.

Love Sam Bush Television! I loved the "insiders" view of recording "Circles Arond Me". And do I agree with Sam, GO PHILLIES! Enough with those Yankees already! Go National League!

Hey all, we are getting ready to launch SBTV (Sam Bush Television) here on the website as well as the other socials. For now, to view, click on "news" and it will give a prompt for the SBTV debut video. Filmed and produced by Craig Havighurst with String Theory, this video is the first of the series. Much more fun to come. Stay tuned and let us know how you like them.... and this from Sam: go Phillies, go National League.....

Sam, Lynn & Band,

Just got "Circles Around Me" today in mail and this CD is just as fresh and joyful as any. Found myself playing title cut "circles" 6 times in a row and loving it all. Nice touch laying down the first cut in that old tried & true key of B. So I got the Martin D18 out and jammed a bit with you - hope you don't mind. See you in W. CO soon. God Bless you all.

So very mad, sad and dissapointed right now. Last week I bought the duo package for the cd release party and paid for overnight shipping. Now, here it is party night and no invitations. I have called and emailed Nimbit but they have not responded. I took today off work hoping they would be delivered at the last minute and so I could make the 3+ hour drive to Nashville. I am just very disgusted right now and I am trying to not blow my temper...
Has anybody else had problems with Nimbit?

“The Top Ten Reasons to Celebrate October 20th and the release of Sam’s new album.”

#10 Why should that other guy with the “Top Ten Lists” be getting all the free press… As of October 20th, Sam’s been sleeping with his manager and staff for Twenty Five Years!!!

#9 It’s safer to have” Circles Around Me” than a Burning “Ring Of Fire”!!!

#8 On October 20th, you’ll only have 67 shopping days until Christmas! With the New Pre-Sale shop at sambush.com you’ve got one stop shopping. No Crowds, No Malls, and No Traffic. Buy like we vote here in Muletown, Early & Often!!!

#7 For those people who are mourning the baseball season, and the fact that their team(s) didn't make it far into the playoffs, (Me and Sam and Lynn, among others), we'll get to hear Sam's new CD all winter and beyond!!! (Submitted by Mary/samfan1)

6# A chance to buy an autographed copy of the new CD with a picture of Sam Bush in a suit! That’s right SAM BUSH IN A SUIT!!! And may we say, “He looks mahvelous! Absolutely mahvelous!!! Come on now ladies, “Every girl’s crazy bout a sharp dressed man”!!!

5# We’ll get to hear “The Ballad of Stringbean and Estelle”. As tragic and sad as this song and story is, who amongst us that remembers Stringbean from the ole Opry and HeeHaw shows, that when his name is mentioned and in our mind we picture him in those overalls, that those memories brings a smile to our face. We should all be so blessed as to leave that as our legacy!!! Thanks for the memories.

4# We get to hear studio versions of songs we've been hearing live all summer long and then some...just like the Grateful Dead used to do it! (Submitted by rickp)

#3 Sam Bush, Musical-Mando Genius, releases Circles Around Me the same week Bill Gates, Computer Genius puts out Windows7!!! Coincidence? Divine Guidance? Great minds think alike? Enquiring minds want to know . . .

#2 We'll get to hear that beautiful title song, "Circles Around Me", which makes us wonder how we got to where we are, and more importantly, to be grateful for the love of family and friends that we have, for our lives, and for music, especially Sam's music! (Submitted by Mary/samfan1)

And our #1 Reason to Celebrate October 20th and the release of Sam’s new album “Circles Around Me”, is that this could very likely be an award winning Bluegrass Album. After the Rosie O’Donnell incident at the Grammy’s with the “Short Trip Home Boys (Joshua Bell, Edgar Meyer, Mike Marshall and Sam) a few years back, it would be highly unlikely and not very wise for Kanye to take the mike away from Sam during his acceptance speech!!! Don’t know if all four of them could take Rosie but I’m betting Sam could kick Kanye’s @#% to Bowling Green and back. Let our Battle Cry be Grammy for Sammy !!!

Let the celebration begin! We’re off to Nashville to enjoy some Release Week Festivities. We hope to see some of you folks there. (Don’t be shy… come on, give us some more #1 reasons.)
